Owned and operated locally by Daniela Preca & Family, Tal-Familja Restaurant offers a warm atmosphere, and a homly place to eat that serves delicious, distinctive menu enjoying countryside views.
The venue provides light airy dining in its beautiful new external veranda, where the tables are elegantly covered with crisp, subtle pink or cream tablecloths. Inside We have three cosy dining areas adorned with paintings and memorabilia, Maltese rustic style with stone shelves, books and the sort of fascinating eclectic knick knacks that you loved tinkering with, at your nanna’s house as a child, ideal for that special romantic evening.
The whole family is involved in running the restaurant: Roberta and her father run the kitchen with the whole brigade and other family members provide friendly, helpful service. Tal-Familja Restaurant serves Mediterranean, Maltese and Italian cuisine. Tal-Familja restaurant has been established for the last 16 years and where ongoing changes and specialties on the menu are continuous. All food produced is sourced locally from markets and suppliers, like the fisherman who brings the best of his daily catch, which ensures our freshest available to our loyal customers.
With regards to food, as pre-starters you are served with a plate of traditional Maltese titbits –accompanied by piping hot, fresh from the oven, mini bread rolls, with a perfect crust, silky middle and a dish of yummy, infused with herbs.
